希腊的大学 圣十字 has two computer labs, located in Rooms 111 and 111a of the Skouras Classroom Building. The computer labs are a place for students to study and work on projects and also serve as smart classrooms for various courses and workshops.

The computer labs are equipped with 19 workstations, each running Microsoft Windows XP. All workstations have the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, 演示文稿, 访问, 网页制作安装), as well as browsers for accessing the web. The Rosetta Stone package is available for the study of languages, and the Peachtree suite is installed for the accounting classes. Image processing and web development software is available, as well as a high-performance scanner. Each computer lab has a multimedia projector and a sound system. There is a black and white laser printer and a color laser printer to which visitors may print. A Student IT Associate is available to provide technical assistance at all times.

All HCHC students have unlimited Internet access in the two 计算机实验室, in the Classrooms and Library, and in the Polemanakos Dormitory. In the 计算机实验室 and the Library, students must 只有 print documents via the available workstations. Connecting personal computers to the school’s network via wired wallports in these areas is strictly prohibited. 学生 can connect to the Internet and the school’s network using their personal computers 只有 where a wireless connection is available (802.11 b/g). In order to use this wireless connection, the students must have a working 802.11 b/g wireless network card installed on their computers. The Student IT Associates in the Computer Lab can assist with the software configuration of the card.

All students are expected to abide by HCHC policies when using the Internet. 访问非法, 淫秽, or 不合适的内容 is strictly prohibited, and may be subject to disciplinary actions. Using peer-to-peer file-sharing programs (like Kazaa, Limeware, EMule, BitTorrent 等.)是不允许的， 不管 of the type of content being shared (copyrighted or non-copyrighted).

HCHC students in good standing will receive a school email address. To access your account, go to netmail.t9111.com and type in your username and password. For questions regarding your email account, please see one of the Student IT Associates in the Computer Lab.

Email is the primary means of communication between students, 教师, and staff. 学生 are expected to check their school email account on a daily basis in order to stay current with school-related communications (which may be time-sensitive). 学生 will use the school email address for any and all school-related email communications (including assignment and/or class-related emails). Using non-school email addresses (like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, 等.) for school-related communications is strongly discouraged. 学生 are not allowed to send mass emails, and the use of email for any objectionable communications is strictly prohibited (this includes, 但不限于, 不合适的内容, 威胁, 骚扰, 个人广告, 等.)

网络接入和存储
All students in good standing will receive a username and a password in order to access the school’s network, 他们的电子邮件帐户, the wireless network in the Polemanakos Dormitory and the workstations in the 计算机实验室 and Library. The same username and password will provide access to all these resources. The username and password should not be shared with anyone, and should be kept in a safe place (losing them may result in a fine).

The workstations in the 计算机实验室 provide students with personal network storage folders. However, students are strongly encouraged to backup their files on personal flash drives. At the end of each semester, students are required to remove all of their files from their network storage folders.

The HCHC IT Department offers technical support to 教师 and staff via the Help Desk System. 学生 receive IT support directly in the Computer Lab, and do not need to submit support tickets through the Help Desk.
